Our Philosophy

As the demand for regeneration and sensitivity towards the environment grows, the Government now requires that at least 60% of all new housing be built on previously developed sites (brownfield), recycled sites, and in-fill sites.

The philosophy of Buxton Country Homes is no different. We fully understand the need to protect the environment and we are committed to developing sympathetically, with a strong belief that our Oak framed properties in particular can actually enhance the surroundings.

Government plans have created the need for substantial quantities of new homes to be built in the near future; for example 1.1 million new homes are needed in the South by 2016. This requirement for new housing has substantially increased the demand for building land, hence there is a golden opportunity for many home owners and landowners. To meet the increasing demand for new homes, we are always looking for sites of all kinds in all areas: brownfield and greenfield, urban and rural, large and small, with and without planning permission.

We maintain a considered and sensible approach to land acquisition by providing professional advice, a sympathetic approach to all concerns and possess a proven track record of responsible development and successful realisation of development opportunities.

Buxton Country Homes build out individual or exclusive small groups of homes, sympathetically designed to enhance each individual location. We care about each environment and locality, and expend time, effort and expertise in due consideration of every concern.
